Office 365 Support and Recovery Assistant

If you're experiencing issues with your Office 365 installation, the Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRA) package can help resolve common problems. Before starting the troubleshooting process, make sure you have the correct version of Windows installed on your device. To check this, follow these steps:

1. Go to Start > Settings (gear icon) > System > About.

2. Check the System type to see if it's 32-bit or 64-bit. Ensure that the listed version matches your version of Windows.

If you're using Microsoft 365 for Business Basic, you won't have any Office applications to install. Additionally, if you're signed in with your Work or School account and don't have a license assigned, contact your Microsoft 365 Administrator to get a license assigned.

To check which Office version and edition you have available, follow these steps:

1. Go to 'We do not recommend downloading anything other than from the official website.' to see the list of available Office versions.

2. Ensure that you have the correct Office installed by checking the version listed on the page.

Try the following troubleshooting methods to resolve the issue:

1. Sign in again to resolve the problem.
